We express our heartfelt gratitude for your amazing support and loyalty. The festival season has come to an end for us. It was truly a fantastic season with all of you. We celebrated, laughed, and worked very, very hard. We believe there are far worse jobs than selling Shot Ice at festivals... :-)

Music festivals have a rich tradition here in Germany. The term "festival" is derived from the English word "festspiel," which in turn has roots in ancient Greece where theater performances were held as part of festive events. Even kings and nobles were known for their festive celebrations. The first castle festival took place in 1665 at the Heidecksburg court in Rudolstadt.
